With 35 years of experience in commercial real estate providing services to local, regional, national and international clients, Jim is recognized for his expertise and innovative approach. His experience includes tenant representation, lease analysis and negotiation, market and building analysis, occupancy and development cost comparison, operating assessment, property management, investment sales and land acquisition and development. Whether reviewing a tenant’s space needs or expansion requirements, or working with municipalities on behalf of the client concerning zoning and entitlements for commercial, mixed-use or residential development projects, Jim is both comfortable and knowledgeable in these areas.
Jim has been an active member of several HOA boards, and has served as the managing partner of successful development and operating businesses. He strives to provide the same attention to detail and level of service that he has come to expect concerning his own properties. Engaged with and strongly influenced by his family and community, Jim is married to his wife of 23 years, Heidi. He has two daughters, Molly (University of Colorado) and Sarah (Oregon State University), and will willingly accept donations to his daughter’s college funds. Most weekends you will find the Dignan family in the mountains skiing, mountain biking, hiking or climbing. He is currently an officer and managing partner of two additional professional organizations and volunteers for his church, which provides many charitable services including food for the homeless. A proud Colorado Buffalo with a background in Business Administration, Jim has held an active Colorado Real Estate Broker’s license since 1981.
